About Me
Hi, I’m Ben - I turn good ideas into great results, struggling teams into productive ones, and “just getting by” businesses into thriving, profit-generating machines. With a career spanning SaaS, Commercial Real Estate, and Marketing, I’ve been a Founder, CEO, and global partnerships leader—all while keeping an eye on the big picture and the bottom line.
What is coming in this Substack and why should you care?
I’ve built three different real estate marketplaces and have seen them go from cool (Pre-Covid) to uncool (during Covid) to almost cool again 2025.
I am fascinated with how cities and real estate markets work all over the world, and in my current role I work in many of them, from the US to Singapore to Paris to London.
I love providing answers where I have them but also love asking questions - and learning. I hope you’ll contribute
Who I’m hoping will join the conversation
PropTech visionaries who are seeing green shoots after a dramatically dry period.
Marketplace experts who understand flywheels, moats, and love to talk about them
Commercial real estate naysayers who just wish it could go back to the way it was
How Often to Check Back
I’ll post once a week on this Substack.
Usually I’ll post about real estate marketplaces, cities that are growing or shrinking, the internet, and things like that.
Other times I may post about something confusing I’m trying to figure out and need your help with.

Education
Stanford University
Bachelor of Science: Quantitative Economics | Graduated: June 1993
Yep, that’s right—Stanford. Where spreadsheets became art, problem-solving became second nature, and saying phrases like “burn rate” started feeling normal.
TL;DR? I build stuff (companies, teams, strategies), grow stuff (profits, partnerships, pipelines), and fix stuff (processes, pricing, performance metrics)—with a little humor, sophistication, and caffeine powering the whole thing. So, let’s talk if you’re ready to solve big problems and make magic happen.
